Privacy Policy

Beta Beta. Last updated 26 October 2026

Short version: Eracade does not collect personal information through the games. Your high scores and settings stay in your own browser. We run no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking scripts.

Who we are

Eracade (eracade.com) is a product of Unflatline, a company whose parent company is Atarus Security. Unflatline operates Eracade and is responsible for your information as described here. Contact: hello@eracade.com.

What we do not do

What stays on your device

High scores, the 3-letter initials you enter, and your settings (sound, CRT effect, calm mode, key bindings, last-chosen era) are saved in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them, recover them or delete them for you. Our Cookies and Local Storage page lists each item and how to clear it.

What we and our host receive

Hosting and network (Cloudflare)

Eracade is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, the page requested, browser type and time of request, and it keeps request logs for security and reliability. Cloudflare may also send network error reports from your browser about failed connections. We use this only to keep the site running and secure. Cloudflare handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply, to look into what you raised, and to keep a record of the conversation. We keep emails only as long as needed for those purposes and for legal compliance, then delete them. Please do not send sensitive information that we do not need.

Why we use information (legal bases)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing a free website (for hosting and network data) and in responding to people who contact us (email), and on compliance with legal obligations where they apply. We do not rely on consent for anything today because we set no cookies and run no non-essential tracking.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help run the site (today, Cloudflare and our email provider), where the law requires, or to protect the site and people from abuse or harm.

International transfers

Cloudflare operates a global network, so request data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or approved data-transfer frameworks.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws such as California's), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, to object to its use, to data portability, to complain to a data protection authority, and not to be treated worse for using these rights. In practice, the only personal information we may hold about you is an email you sent us. To use a right, email hello@eracade.com. We will reply within the time the law requires (generally one month under GDPR and 45 days under many US state laws), and we may need to confirm it is really you. Data stored in your browser is under your control: see the Cookies page.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. No system is perfectly secure. To report a vulnerability, see our Security page.

Children

Eracade is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. See Children and Families.

Things we may add in future

We may add in future: optional accounts with passkeys, a paid "Player 1 Pass" subscription handled by a payment processor acting as merchant of record, ads from Google's games ad program shown only between games, leaderboards, and licensing games to other game sites. Some of these would involve cookies, device identifiers, account data, payment data or public display names, and would need consent choices where the law requires. This policy will be updated before any of them launch.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, say so on the site. Privacy questions or requests: hello@eracade.com.
